Sami Gangji

University of Rhode Island College of Pharmacy

Sami Gangji is a third-year student pharmacist at the University of Rhode Island College of Pharmacy. He currently serves as the International Vice President of his APhA-ASP chapter and previously served as Policy Vice President and Chapter Delegate to APhA2025. He also currently serves as the Region 1 Regional Delegate, allowing him to express his passion for policy and advocacy, and help to create resolutions for the APhA-ASP House of Delegates.
This past summer, he also served as the Carl F. Emswiller Summer Intern at the APhA Headquarters in Washington DC. He was able to build on his passion for policy and advocacy by helping to plan Capitol Hill visits for 150+ student pharmacists. He also helped with various other student initiatives and worked to help bring student perspective and priorities to various projects.
