Women in Pharmacy: Leadership Development Forum
Join the dialogue with female leaders in pharmacy during this 90-minute live forum. Participate in this interactive session that discusses how you can cultivate your entrepreneurial skills. Hear how your fellow pharmacists apply entrepreneurial approaches to introduce new patient care services to their pharmacy practice. Get inspiration and advice from those who became independent pharmacy owners and from those who became consultants by using their pharmacy knowledge to guide clients through real world challenges. Meet others who, like you, are invested in professional development and are champions of women in pharmacy. Take away from this program practical suggestions and resources you can apply to your life and help those you may be supervising or mentoring.

BOWL OF HYGEIA RECEPTION
More than 50 years ago, the Bowl of Hygeia Award Program was developed by the A.H. Robins Company to recognize pharmacists across the nation for outstanding service to their communities. Selected annually through state pharmacy associations, each recipient of the Award is recognized for making unique contributions to a strong, healthy community through service and personal leadership. More than 3,000 pharmacists have been recognized with this prestigious award. This reception is an opportunity to honor Bowl of Hygeia Award recipients past and present. We recognize and pay tribute to the 2016 recipient class as well as all those who have been honored in previous years for their extraordinary service to their community. Boehringer Ingelheim is proud to be the premier supporter of the Bowl of Hygeia program. Please note that Boehringer Ingelheim did not participate in the selection of the recipients or the funding of this award.

We share updates regarding our Research and Innovation projects – our innovative, team-based models that are advancing pharmacists’ patient care services. We have the opportunity to express our gratitude to all our volunteers including those who serve on our scholarship and grant review committees.
