Samantha is a PGY-1 Acute Care Pharmacy Resident at AHN Forbes Hospital in Monroeville, PA. Her career path has been anything but traditional, beginning with a B.S. in Biology from West Virginia University Institute of Technology (2019) and two years as a microbiologist before finding her calling in pharmacy. Inspired by a close family friend’s patient-centered practice, she pursued her PharmD at West Virginia University, graduating in 2025. Throughout pharmacy school and residency, Samantha has balanced the demands of training with family life, including the birth of her second child, crediting her perseverance to her faith and the support of her husband of 14 years. She is passionate about patient care and is an emerging voice in the next generation of pharmacy leaders.
