Pamela Smith, PharmD has been with Pfizer Medical Affairs for 26.5 years and currently holds the role of Vaccines National Accounts Medical Lead. She received her BS Pharm degree from West Virginia University and completed her PharmD and Critical Care Residency at Medical University of South Carolina. Prior to her Vaccines Medical Affairs role, Pamela supported Pfizer Medical Affairs as a Field Medical Director in Cardiovascular/Metabolism, and in Medical Outcomes & Analytics. In addition to her significant medical affairs expertise and health care system experience, she has demonstrated Medical Affairs leadership in initiatives with various national and regional organizations. She was named recently as one of Pfizer’s “Top 125 Most Inspiring Women.” In her current role, Pamela leads, develops, evolves, and maintains long-term relationships with national healthcare thought leaders and key customers to include payer, national IDNs, national pharmacy chains, and other priority national accounts for vaccines. Pamela also supports Pfizer’s Clinical Trials Diversity team and is a champion for health equity within Medical Affairs.
