Nidhi Gandhi-Patel, PharmD, BS
Dr. Nidhi Gandhi-Patel is the Director of Transformation and Academic Initiatives at the American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy (AACP). In this role, she leads national projects and initiatives to advance pharmacy education and practice transformation through the AACP Transformation Center and works closely with partner associations and member institutions. She also manages educational programming offered to members and oversees the poster symposium annually at the AACP Annual Meeting.
Dr. Gandhi-Patel earned her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Wingate University School of Pharmacy in 2018. She went on to complete a PGY1 Community-Based Pharmacy Residency with Albertsons Companies and Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science in 2019, where she led research, new service development, and quality improvement initiatives to expand patient care services, including naloxone dispensing and HPV vaccination. Following residency, she completed a two-year Academic Leadership and Education Fellowship with AACP, where she managed projects aligned with Strategic Priority 3: Innovation in Education and Practice and collaborated with national pharmacy and healthcare organizations to drive transformation in pharmacy education and practice.
She is the author of The Pharmacist Career Journey: Planning for Career Development, Progression, and Maximization (American Pharmacists Association) and has contributed as a pharmacy writer for GoodRx
