APhA Foundation Executive Fellowship in   Association Management & Leadership

This post-graduate program transitioned to the term "Fellowship" in 2019 to reflect the highly individualized nature of the program and more closely align with terminology used by similar post-graduate programs in association management and leadership. Appointments begin in mid-June and terminate by June 30 of the following year.

The Knowlton Center for Pharmacist-Based Health Solutions

The Knowlton Center for Pharmacist-Based Health Solutions was established through a pledge made by the Knowlton Foundation.

Samford University McWhorter School of Pharmacy
2026-2027

Trevor Shaw is a Doctor of Pharmacy graduate from the Samford University McWhorter School of Pharmacy in Birmingham, Alabama. During his time there, he was involved in APhA-ASP and several other pharmacy organizations, most notably serving as Community Outreach Chair for Samford AAPP. In 2024, he established the organization’s first booth at the Central Alabama AFSP Out of the Darkness Walk, recruited the largest walking team in chapter history, and raised approximately double the group’s fundraising goal. These experiences inspired him to further develop his leadership and association management skills at the national level, where he hopes to continue advocating for underserved patients while advancing the entire pharmacy profession. Originally from Dothan, Alabama, Trevor enjoys running, CrossFit, volunteering at his local animal shelter, and celebrating his Vietnamese heritage through food and music.
