In the mid-1990’s, she championed the establishment of the APhA Foundation Quality Center, which is dedicated to supporting and fostering research that improves quality in medication use. She has been an advocate for the APhA Foundation Pinnacle Awards, an awards recognition program within the Quality Center, since its inception in 1998. In 2000, Marily was instrumental in helping establish the Jacob W. Miller award to recognize Jake’s tremendous leadership and support of the APhA Foundation during his service as President from 1991 to 2000.
