Pharmacist Remote Monitoring for Blood Pressure: Expanding Clinical Services in Community Pharmacy

Mary Louise Andersen.png

Guided by my passion for equitable care, I see remote blood pressure services as a powerful tool to expand pharmacists’ impact on community health.

I seek to strengthen collaboration between doctors and pharmacists through services that improve outcomes for patients with chronic conditions, while also reducing barriers to care by offering alternatives to traditional clinic visits.

With funding through the grant, I will be able to provide blood pressure monitors to individuals who would greatly benefit from daily monitoring but might otherwise be unable to afford it if not covered by insurance.
