Evaluation of a Community Pharmacist Provided Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT) Consultation Service

Thank you so much for this incredible support. I’m truly honored to receive this grant, which will help bring much-needed healthcare services to women navigating menopause, especially in rural communities. This funding is not just an investment in a project—it’s a step toward better, more inclusive care in a community pharmacy setting, and I’m deeply grateful for the opportunity.

What motivates me is the gap in accessible, supportive healthcare for women experiencing menopause, especially in rural communities. I’ve seen firsthand how many women feel overlooked or under-informed during this natural transition, and I want to change that. By creating and evaluating a dedicated hormone replacement therapy (HRT) service, I hope to empower women with the care and information they deserve, no matter where they live.

I’m really excited about this project because I can use my knowledge as a pharmacist in a meaningful step toward supporting women in a way that’s often been overlooked. Establishing processes and procedures for a HRT service and assessing patient’s satisfaction in a sustainable and effective way. Receiving this grant and completing this research project could make a real difference in someone's quality of life.
