Established in 1953, the APhA Foundation has been dedicated to advancing the quality of patient health outcomes through various initiatives such as research, public education, issue forums, and recognition of pharmacy practice. The Michael A. Moné APhA-ASP Speaker Award was established in 2024. This award acknowledges the leadership and many endeavors aimed at advancing policy by the Speaker of the APhA-ASP House of Delegates during their term in office.
The Ellis Family Scholarship was created to honor Bill’s unwavering commitment to mentorship throughout his career in pharmacy and will assist student pharmacists in their future roles as advocates for patients, the profession, and public health.
