Volunteer

Want to play a role in improving patient health through the APhA Foundation? We’d love for you to get involved through one of our volunteer committees.

Our volunteers are a vital component in our efforts to demonstrate how pharmacists can impact healthcare.  As a volunteer, you can assist with one of our special events to raise funds and awareness for the Foundation or participate in our selection process for some of our prestigious awards and scholarships to recognize leaders in the profession.

• Pinnacle Awards
  Pinnacle Award Selection Committee members help evaluate candidates and select recipients for the Foundation’s prestigious Pinnacle Awards, which celebrate significant contributions to the medication use process in three categories (individual, group practice/health systems/corporations, and voluntary health agencies/non-profit organizations/associations/government agencies).
   
• Scholarships
  Members of the Student Scholarship Selection Committee review student scholarship applications and follow a streamlined selection process to award scholarships to 14 deserving student leaders.
   
• Incentive Grants
  Incentive Grant Review Committee volunteers help select recipients for the Foundation’s Incentive Grants, which offer pharmacists seed money to implement or support an existing patient care service within their pharmacy practice
