The University of Texas at Austin College of Pharmacy

Tiffany Dinh is a third-year student pharmacist pursuing a dual degree in Doctor of Pharmacy and Master of Public Health at The University of Texas at Austin College of Pharmacy. Prior to attending pharmacy school, she graduated from the University of California, Berkeley where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Nutritional Sciences: Toxicology and a minor in Food Systems.

During Tiffany’s time in pharmacy school, she has been passionately involved in the American
Pharmacists Association - Academy of Student Pharmacists, and it has played a vital role in her growth. She serves as UT-APhA-ASP’s Policy and Advocacy Vice President and Chapter Delegate, and her highlight is leading the organization’s inaugural pharmacy policy debate to discuss Texas legislature that affect the profession and promote students’ advocacy. Her participation extends beyond the local chapter, as she has attended the Midyear Regional and Annual meetings and presented at the Innovative Programming Poster and Policy Proposal Forum.

In addition to her active involvement with APhA-ASP, Tiffany also serves as the President for her
chapter’s Student Society of Health-System Pharmacists (UT-SSHP), Corresponding Secretary for the Student National Pharmaceutical Association (UT-SNPhA), and Treasurer for Phi Lambda Sigma (PLS). She is also involved at the state and national level: Legislative Affairs student member for the Texas Society of Health-System Pharmacists (TSHP), student director liaison for the Texas Pharmacy Association (TPA), and Advisory Group Member for the Advancement of Professional Practice with the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists Pharmacy Student Forum (ASHP PSF).

Outside of pharmacy school, Tiffany interns at MedWiseRx, a telehealth medication therapy management center. She also enjoys volunteering with the American Red Cross, which she has been a member of since 2012. Tiffany takes care of her mental health by integrating a balanced lifestyle through exercising and listening to podcasts. Her professional interests include pharmacy management, informatics, and, overall, leveraging technology to advance pharmacy practice and optimize patient care.

Tiffany has great devotion to transform into a lifelong learner, and is deeply grateful for her support system in providing their expertise, guidance, and advice as she continues to develop her professionalism and leadership.
