Abigail Fry

University of Wyoming School of Pharmacy

Abigail Fry is a third-year pharmacy student at the University of Wyoming School of Pharmacy. Prior to embarking on her pharmacy journey, she completed her pre-pharmacy requirements and earned a biology minor at the University of Wyoming.

Abigail's commitment to the pharmacy profession is exemplified through her active involvement in the American Pharmacists Association (APhA), where she served as Diabetes Chair, President-Elect, and Chapter President. Additionally, she extends her leadership to organizations such as the National Community Pharmacists Association (NCPA), American Society of Health-Systems Pharmacists (ASHP), and Phi Lambda Sigma (PLS). Beyond APhA, Abigail dedicates her time to fostering a supportive campus environment as a mentor for undergraduate students in her role as a Cowboy Coach and School of Pharmacy Student Ambassador.

Her professional interests span a wide spectrum, including independent community pharmacy, ambulatory care, academia, women's health, infectious disease, and pediatrics. Abigail's passion for advocacy extends to serving underrepresented populations, as demonstrated by her commitment to obtaining an ASL certificate to work within the Deaf community post-graduation.

With a vision focused on residency post-graduation, Abigail aims to refine her clinical skills and continue making impactful contributions to patient care, particularly within the realms of women's health, infectious disease, diabetes, and serving the Deaf and Veteran communities.
