Tolani Adebanjo is a final year student pharmacist at The University of Maryland Eastern School of Pharmacy and Health Professions. Originally from Overland Park, Kansas, she received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Biochemistry from The University of Mary Washington in Fredericksburg, Virginia where she also played NCAA Volleyball. During her time as a student pharmacist, Tola has been actively involved in the American Pharmacists Association-Academy of Student Pharmacists at the local, regional and national level. She has served as the President of her APhA-ASP chapter and was also selected to complete the APhA Experiential Program in Association Management & Leadership.

Outside of APhA-ASP, Tola has held roles as Student Representative on the Maryland Pharmacists Association (MPhA) Board of Trustees and member of the MPhA Professional Development Committee. In addition to these organizations, she remains a very involved member of The Kappa Psi Pharmaceutical Fraternity, Phi Lambda Sigma Leadership Society, and The Maryland Society of Health-System Pharmacy.

Tola hopes to obtain a PGY-1 pharmacy practice residency after graduation and has interest in the areas of oncology, ambulatory care, and pediatrics. In her free time, she can be found playing volleyball, running marathons, attending concerts, and watching college basketball. Tola would like to recognize her family, mentors, and friends for their continued support throughout pharmacy school.
