Sarah Wheeler is a final year student pharmacist at The Ohio State University College of Pharmacy. Prior to attending pharmacy school, she earned a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry at the University of Virginia. Since starting pharmacy school, she has been actively involved as a member of APhA-ASP, serving in leadership roles at the local and national level. At the local level, Sarah served as P1 Chair of the Helping Hands Free Clinic Committee, Patient Care Vice President, and as Chapter President. In her final year as a student pharmacist, she continues to serve APhA-ASP as the Chair of the National Awards Standing Committee.

Outside of APhA-ASP, Sarah has served as a mentor to first-year student pharmacists and pre-pharmacy students at The Ohio State University and the University of Virginia, and she is an active member of the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists, Rho Chi, and Phi Lambda Sigma. Sarah is passionate about patient care, teaching, and research, and she plans to pursue a PGY1 pharmacy practice residency after graduation to continue to develop her patient care skills and work toward a career in academia where she can give back to the profession through mentoring future generations of student pharmacists.
