Colton P Radford is a third year student pharmacist at Idaho State University College of Pharmacy in Pocatello, ID and will be completing his fourth-year rotations in Reno, NV. Colton is expected to graduate with his Doctor of Pharmacy in the Spring of 2019 and with his Master's in Business Administration in the Spring of 2020.

Throughout his tenure at Idaho State University, Colton has actively worked to improve and advocate for pharmacists' rights in the state of Idaho. In 2016, he was given the opportunity to meet one-on-one with Idaho Senators James Risch and Mike Crapo to discuss pharmacy in Idaho while on Capitol Hill. He currently serves as the Rho Chi President and Phi Lambda Sigma Treasurer of his respective chapters. In the past, he has served as Class President, Student Representative for the Idaho State Pharmacists Association, and Chair of Poison Prevention and Meth Awareness. He was also awarded APhA's Ronald L William Scholarship to attend APhA's Institute on Alcoholism and Drug Dependencies in 2016.

Colton has worked in a local compounding pharmacy for four years and is fortunate enough to be the only student in Idaho who is performing high-risk sterile compounding. Over the years, he has gained extensive knowledge regarding USP <800>. He recently prepared and assisted in the presentation of an ACPE CE course regarding USP <800> at thee Idaho Society of Health-System Pharmacist's fall 2017 meeting. This past summer, he partook in an international pharmacy student exchange, where he was able to gain firsthand international experience working in a community pharmacy in Lincoln, Lincolnshire, England.

After pharmacy school, he hopes to complete a PGY-1 residency to further his clinical knowledge and marry the love of his life, whom he met while they were both attending pharmacy school at Idaho State University.
