Nick Taylor is a 3rd year pharmacy student at Butler University in Indianapolis, IN. Nick is pursuing a minor in healthcare management and is interested in exploring all aspects of the pharmacy profession.
Nick became active with the American Pharmacists Association - Academy of Student Pharmacists as a first-year pharmacy student. Nick soon became interested in leadership and currently serves as the APhA-ASP chapter president at Butler. He embodies servant leadership and works tirelessly to support and uplift his chapter's leadership team. Nick is also passionate about diversity, equity, and inclusion, and has created numerous opportunities to foster discussion and promote inclusivity on Butler's campus.
Aside from his work with APhA-ASP, Nick is committed to academic excellence and making a positive impact on the Butler Community. Nick is a member of and lead tutor for Butler's Rho Chi Honor Society chapter. He also supported the foundation of a new organization called the Students of Color Allied in Healthcare. This organization uplifts students of color and advocates for patients of color. This is a unique, student-led organization that creates space for healthcare students of color and allies. Nick is interested in pursuing a nontraditional pharmacy career and utilizing his PharmD and coursework in healthcare management to provide solutions to complex healthcare challenges.
