University of Saint Joseph School of Pharmacy and Physician Assistant Studies
Jenessa Teta is a third-year student pharmacist at the University of Saint Joseph School of Pharmacy and Physician Assistant Studies. Prior to pharmacy school, she received her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and a minor in Chemistry from the University of Bridgeport.
During pharmacy school, Jenessa has enjoyed her involvement in various organizations, including the American Pharmacists Association Academy of Student Pharmacists. She served as the chapter vice president last year and was involved with MRM 2020, APhA Annual 2021, and the 2021 Summer Leadership Institute. She has also held leadership roles in her school's chapters of the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists and the American College of Clinical Pharmacy. Jenessa was successful in chartering a chapter of Phi Lambda Sigma at her school, too. Additionally, Jenessa is an active member of the Rho Chi Pharmacy Honor Society.
Jenessa is a pharmacy intern at the Hospital of Central Connecticut as well as CVS Pharmacy. Her professional interests include practicing in the ambulatory care setting and advocating for the advancement of the pharmacy profession.
