The APhA Foundation Announces the Appointment of Two New Board Members

WASHINGTON, DC – The American Pharmacists Association (APhA) Foundation announced today the appointment of two new members to the Foundation’s Board of Directors for the 2020-2023 term. The membership was effective March 19, 2020.

Joining the Board are Mallory Ward and Gary Kadlec, BSPharm, MBA, ScD. Existing members are Steve Simenson, RPh, BPharm (President); Troy Trygstad, PharmD, MBA, PhD (Treasurer); Thomas E. Menighan, BS Pharm, MBA, ScD, FAPhA (Secretary); Anjanette Wyatt, BSPharm PharmD and Laura Carpenter, BPharm, JD, RPh.

Ward is a strategic communications and public affairs professional who brings over a decade of experience working with corporations, industry associations, political campaigns and not-for-profit organizations. With her past fundraising experience, she brings an understanding of how to build sustaining relationships that fit within a development strategy.

Kadlec has extensive experience guiding medication therapy management, pharmacy dispensing centers, and supportive businesses at multiple locations on a national scale.  A longtime leader in the pharmacy and other organizations, he cultivated key partnerships internally and externally to produce outstanding results and secure the long-term viability of an organization.
