Martin Bailey, a student pharmacist at Loma Linda University and an intern at the University’s Medical Center. Martin and his classmates started by doing small things that made a big difference, like going to buy groceries for the physicians and nurses who were working in the ER and couldn’t go home to see their families. While some people have been paralyzed by fear, Martin embodies a boldness demonstrated by hundreds of student pharmacists across the nation who have eagerly leaned in to do whatever is necessary to serve, including the thousands of doses of COVID-19 vaccines that our student pharmacists – including Martin – have administered as a part of every school and college of pharmacy in America.
