Emily Albers, PharmD
Emily Albers, PharmD is the APhA Foundation’s 2023-2024 Executive Fellow in Association Management and Leadership. In May, she completed her pharmacy education at Drake University’s College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences in Des Moines, IA. Outside of pharmacy, Emily has a passion for art and design. With a minor in Graphic Design, she competed in Drake University’s art showcases and served as Arts Director for the University’s Art and Literary journal, Periphery. While in school, Emily was involved in the APhA-ASP chapter as Delegate and Policy VP and was also a member of Phi Delta Chi and Phi Lambda Sigma. Her areas of interest include public health, cardiology, LGBTQ+ and women’s health. Also, a three-year stint as an administrative intern for the Iowa Board of Pharmacy fueled Emily’s interest in pharmacy advocacy.
