Academy Research Grants

The APhA Foundation's Academy Research Grants provide opportunities for innovative practice-based research for members of APhA's Academy of Pharmacy Practice and Management (APPM) and Academy of Pharmaceutical Research and Science (APRS). This research will help build evidence to seed ideas for future APhA Foundation research.

Funding Amount

In 2023, the Academy Research Grant program will provide 1 grant to a recipient in the amount of $20,000.00

General Eligibility Criteria

All applicants must be an active member of APhA's APPM or APRS. Students and residents are ineligible to apply directly, but may be part of the applicant's research team. We encourage students to consider our Student Scholarship Program and we encourage residents to consider our Incentive Grant Program.

Focus Areas

This year's application places special emphasis on practice-based research proposals addressing any of following focus areas:

• Pharmacy Deserts and Patient Access
• Social Determinants of Health
• Cardiometabolic Disease
• Pharmacy Workplace and Workflow
• Patient Care Service Implementation
