Maya Boguslawski is the University of Iowa College of Pharmacy PGY-1 Community-Based Pharmacy Resident at Greenwood Pharmacy in Waterloo, IA. she attended the University of Wisconsin Madison School of Pharmacy.

"I am honored to receive an APhA Foundation Incentive Grant this year and I am excited to provide this innovative, accessible service to patients in the community."

"Point of care (POC) test-and-treat programs are a relatively new concept in Iowa pharmacies. When we decided to implement our own, I was very interested in hearing patients’ opinions on the service and how we can make it better."

"I am excited to provide an accessible way for patients to get tested for strep, influenza, and COVID-19 and also receive treatment in the same visit. It’s a one-stop-shop! The information we gather from this project will help us assess our next steps to improve the quality of this service for both the pharmacy and patients."
