Rajan Vaidya is part of the inaugural PharmD Class of 2018 at the Keck Graduate Institute located in Claremont, California. In June, he will begin his position as the APhA Foundation Executive Resident in Association Management and Leadership in Washington, D.C.
As a student pharmacist, he took on many leadership roles with the California Pharmacists Association (CPhA) and Indian Pharmacists Association (IPA). In these associations, he served on various committees and worked to engage student pharmacists in healthcare advocacy.
Rajan’s professional interests include pharmacy advocacy, healthcare policy development, strategic fundraising, leadership development, and mentoring student pharmacists. His future goals include serving pharmacist members and the pharmacy profession in developing healthcare policies to improve patient care.
