Meet the 2022 APhA Foundation Knowlton Center Executive Fellow

The APhA Foundation is thrilled to welcome Esther Boadi as the new Knowlton Center Executive Fellow.  Esther will soon complete her pharmacy education at Lipscomb University   College  of Pharmacy in Nashville, Tennessee and will begin her Fellowship in June.

Boadi will serve as the fifteenth Fellow since the 2008 program launch. “I look forward to connecting and building strong relationships with APhA leaders as well as laying a firm foundation   within the association in order to jumpstart my career of service,” says Esther.

As a student pharmacist, Esther is involved with the American Pharmacists Association – Academy of Student Pharmacists (APhA-ASP) as well as several other organizations. She is very passionate in serving with purpose, focusing on mentorship and philanthropy. In 2018, Esther started the William Y. Boadi Education Foundation, with a mission to encourage and enhance academic excellence by providing supplemental resources and a healthy environment for youth to cultivate their minds and achieve their goals. Since its launch, she has given away over 60 backpacks filled with school supplies every school year.

Esther is determined to aid in improving healthcare across all age groups through advocacy and higher learning and will bring her ideas and experiences to the work of the APhA Foundation.

“I am honored to work with the APhA Foundation as the 2022–2023 Executive Fellow,” says Esther. “I believe the knowledge and experiences I will gain in this position will set me on a unique and valuable pathway in my pharmacy career.”
