2022 Incentive Grant Recipient: Ifedolapo Fasina, PharmD
Project Proposal: Zen in the Pharmacy: An Education Session to Promote Health and Wellness Among Pharmacists and Pharmacy Technicians
Ifedolapo Fasina, PharmD, currently serves as the PGY1 Community-based Pharmacy Resident with the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and Walgreens in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. She is a graduate of University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
While working as a pharmacy intern during the COVID-19 pandemic, Ifedolapo noticed an increase of pharmacists and pharmacy technicians who expressed stress or burnout from the job but had no resources on how they can improve their well-being on the job and at home. This motivated her to provide resources that pharmacy team members can use to improve their health and wellness.
"I am most excited about all the pharmacists and pharmacy technicians I can help with the resources I have created. This grant will allow me to provide incentives to encourage more people to participate and learn about how to keep themselves in a more positive space!"
