Project Proposal: Identifying Key Factors Associated with High-Achieving Chain Pharmacy Teams Delivering Quality Care for Patients in Medically Underserved Areas

“My project proposal was motivated by an interest in better understanding process implementation and improvements that can help pharmacists provide care in high-risk communities.”

Dr. Cho is a PGY1 community pharmacy resident through the University of Pittsburgh School of Pharmacy and Rite Aid in Pittsburgh, PA. Her study will be conducted at Rite Aid pharmacy locations across Ohio, Pennsylvania, and West Virginia serving diverse populations in age, gender, ethnicity, and socioeconomic status.

“I am most excited about sharing my findings and having the platform to encourage others to pursue research that benefits patients within their communities.”
