Amanda D'Ostroph

UNC Eshelman School of Pharmacy University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill

 

Amanda D’Ostroph is a final-year student pharmacist at the University of North Carolina (UNC) Eshelman School of Pharmacy, Chapel Hill campus. Prior to pharmacy school, she graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Biology from Charleston Southern University in North Charleston, South Carolina. Amanda has served as a leader and active member in many student organizations, including APhA-ASP Chapter President of the Carolina Association of Pharmacy Students, Vice President of Phi Lambda Sigma, and Pharmacy Clinic Coordinator of the Student Health Action Coalition. She is a current member of the APhA-ASP National Member Engagement Standing Committee. Amanda is pursuing a career in community pharmacy, and has additional interests in diabetes management and global health. This past October, she traveled to Zambia, Africa for a global pharmacy rotation. For fun, she enjoys playing golf, running, traveling, and cheering on the Tar Heels.
