Ernest Ruiz

Ernest Ruiz is a third-year student pharmacist at the University of Minnesota College of Pharmacy in Minneapolis, MN. Currently, Ernest serves as the APhA-ASP President for the Twin Cities chapter. In this role, he works diligently with his team to provide students with opportunities for professional and leadership growth and to inspire students to advocate for the profession of pharmacy and patients alike. One of Ernest’s best traits is the ability to work aside amazing mentors, pharmacists, and peers to improve healthcare and patient care. Ernest owes much of his success to his family who instilled in him the value of respect, hard work, enabling others and that a genuine smile can take you a long way.
