Jeffrey Van Liew

University of the Incarnate Word Feik School of Pharmacy

 

Jeffrey Van Liew is a third-year student pharmacist at the University of the Incarnate Word Feik School of Pharmacy. Jeffrey is an Upstate New York native and attended Syracuse University where he received a degree in Public Affairs. He is currently the Policy Vice President at his local APhA-ASP Chapter and an active member on the Operation Immunizations committee. Jeffrey served as the APhA-ASP Region 6 Delegate from 2013-2014. Outside of APhA-ASP, Jeffrey serves as the Texas Pharmacy Association’s (TPA) Student Board of Directors Chair and as a member of the TPA Board of Directors and TPA PharmPAC Board of Directors. Jeffrey has a passion for advocacy and served as the Paul G. Cano Legislative Intern with the American Society of Consultant Pharmacists (ASCP) the summer of 2014, working in pharmacy legislative and regulatory affairs in Washington, DC. During his time as a student pharmacist he has been an active member of several pharmacy organizations including, Kappa Psi, Phi Lambda Sigma, and the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists.
