University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences College of Pharmacy
Brandi Bowers is a third-year student pharmacist at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences College of Pharmacy. Originally from Mountain Home, AR, she obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree in Mathematics from Missouri State University, graduating with honors. Brandi currently serves as APhA-ASP Vice President of Patient Care, where she has expanded UAMS outreach to her community and worked to prepare fellow student pharmacists to impact their communities. Her activities led to her recognition as the UAMS APhA-ASP Outstanding Member for 2014-2015. Brandi also serves as NCPA Chapter President, Phi Lambda Sigma Chapter Secretary/Treasurer, and a member of the Rho Chi Society.
Brandi has worked as a pharmacy intern specializing in clinical community pharmacy while in pharmacy school. Following graduation, Brandi hopes to pursue a pharmacy practice residency that will allow her to continue to build upon her experiences in community pharmacy and work with student pharmacists to expand their clinical presence in the community pharmacy.
