Susan Dickey is a third-year student pharmacist at The University of Tennessee Health Science Center College of Pharmacy (UTCOP) in Memphis, Tennessee. Originally from Charlottesville, Virginia, Susan attended Vanderbilt University for her undergraduate education where she received her Bachelors of Art, majoring in both mathematics and molecular and cellular biology. She then served as a Teach For America Corps Member in Jackson, Louisiana, where she taught ninth grade physical science. Currently, Susan serves as the 2013-14 Vice-Chair of the American Pharmacists Association Academy of Student Pharmacists (APhA-ASP) national Policy Standing Committee. She is also the 2013-14 president of the UTCOP APhA-ASP chapter. Susan is a member of Phi Lambda Sigma pharmacy leadership society as well as Rho Chi academic honor society. Susan is exploring different career options to pursue after graduating from UTCOP and hopes to be an active member of the pharmacy community throughout her career.
