Executive Fellow

John Little, PharmD

John Little received his PharmD from the University of Oklahoma College of Pharmacy and graduated with a Leadership Degree. As a student pharmacist, John served as Class President for four years, Student Council President, and APhA-ASP Chapter President. In his final year, John and his team won the National Community Pharmacists Association (NCPA) Student Business Plan Competition by developing a unique strategy around infusion pharmacotherapy.

John’s professional interests include healthcare innovation and creating new ways for pharmacists to leverage their medication expertise to provide exceptional patient care. He is very interested in digital health and the pharmacist’s evolving role as a valuable member of the healthcare team.

“The Executive Fellowship greatly prepared me for a successful pharmacy career by presenting me with very unique opportunities and surrounding me with a fantastic team that ensured a successful start to my career. Exposure to the entire Association at APhA allowed me to have a complete view of how associations function as well as a better understanding of the larger pharmacy landscape, and I’m very thankful for that experience. Now that I've transitioned to Research and Innovation Project Management Specialist, I frequently draw upon skills obtained from the Fellowship, such as collaboration with others, organization and project management, and professional communication. Thanks to the Executive Fellowship, I feel very equipped to succeed in my current role, and confident knowing that the skills and relationships gained through the Fellowship will continue to help me moving forward.”
