Jane Beyer
University of Missouri - Kansas City School of Pharmacy
Jane Beyer is a third year student pharmacist at the University of Missouri - Kansas City School of Pharmacy. Prior to pharmacy school, she was a high school science teacher at her alma mater in Kansas City. She taught chemistry and forensic science.
American Pharmacists Association - Academy of Student Pharmacists has played a vital role in Jane's journey through pharmacy school. She is currently the APhA-ASP chapter president on the Kansas City campus. She has also been involved with the chapter's mentorship program, competed on the local level for the NPCC and was secretary during her second year of pharmacy school. Beyond APhA-ASP, Jane has held the position of class secretary for the last three years and will be initiated into Phi Lambda Sigma Leadership Society this upcoming spring.
Jane is currently employed at Children's Mercy Hospital as a clinical pharmacy intern in the outpatient pharmacy. After graduation, she wants to complete a community-based residency. She would like to thank her APhA-ASP executive board, chapter advisors and chapter members for all their hard work navigating through the virtual world to reach our community members.
