Allyson Kerr is a 3rd year student pharmacist at Campbell University College of Pharmacy & Health Sciences. During her time as a student pharmacist, Allyson has been involved in the American Pharmacists Association - Academy of Student Pharmacists serving as Operation Diabetes Chair for the past two years. Allyson has enjoyed guiding her committee as they have provided blood glucose screenings to underserved populations at local health fairs, provided first year student pharmacists with an annual diabetes "Jeopardy" review session, and organized a weekly healthy recipe virtual flyer for her pharmacy school.

Currently Allyson serves as President of Campbell University's Christian Pharmacists Fellowship International Chapter. She is passionate about service and was proud that her CPFI chapter was awarded the CPFI Hands & Feet National Grant to partially fund an event to pack 36 Operation Christmas Child boxes. Other leadership roles Allyson is involved with include serving as Treasurer of Phi Lambda Sigma's Alpha Zeta Chapter and Parliamentarian of Kappa Psi Pharmaceutical Fraternity, Inc. Delta Lambda Chapter.

Outside of pharmacy school, Allyson is finishing her sixth year as oboist in Sound of the Sandhills Wind Symphony. Allyson currently works as a Pharmacy Intern with CVS.

Her professional interests include pursuing a Fellowship in Clinical Research or Health Economics and Outcomes Research. Allyson is currently working to expand her research skillset after receiving the Campbell University Student Engagement in Research Grant to work with Dr. Miranda van Tilburg on The Life Course Study evaluating patients with underlying renal disease in a sample of emerging adults. Allyson is excited to further her education through future opportunities and looks forward to utilizing these experiences to serve her future patients and community.
