Sneha cyriac
Drake University College of Pharmacy & Health Sciences
Sneha Cyriac is a third year student pharmacist at the College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences at Drake University and is also pursuing her Masters of Business Administration.
During her time as a student pharmacist, Sneha has held several leadership positions. At the Drake Chapter of the American Pharmacists Association-Academy of Student Pharmacists (APhA-ASP), she served as the Pre-Pharmacy Membership Chair, President-Elect, and is currently President. Through her involvement in this program, she has given back to her community and the Drake Neighborhood. She has worked to create opportunities and events to provide health screenings and education to the Des Moines community.
Outside of APhA-ASP, Sneha has also been actively involved in Phi Delta Chi and Phi Lambda Sigma chapters at Drake University. She held leadership positions in Phi Delta Chi, and is currently the Treasurer of Phi Lambda Sigma. Over the last year and a half, Sneha has helped establish a Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) Committee at Drake University. Within the committee, she had the pleasure of creating a DEI syllabus statement for all faculty at Drake.
Off campus, Sneha currently works as a pharmacy intern at MercyOne West Des Moines Medical Center and at Walmart Pharmacy. Her professional goal is to advocate for underserved communities and hopes to utilize both her pharmacy and business degrees to advance the practice of pharmacy.
