Kristin Meyer is a third year PharmD and MBA student at the University of Kentucky College of Pharmacy. Throughout pharmacy school, she has been actively involved in the American Pharmacists Association-Academy of Student Pharmacists (APhA-ASP). She has also attended numerous meetings through APhA-ASP, including Midyear Regional Meetings and the Summer Leadership Institute. Kristin was recognized as an outstanding chapter member for APhA-ASP Region IV in November of 2021 for her work as the Community Outreach chair where trains student volunteers and manages pharmacy inventory at the local Salvation Army Clinic. She is also a member of the Kentucky Pharmacists Association (KPhA) where she serves on the Membership Engagement Committee.

Kristin is an active member in other pharmacy organizations, serving as treasurer for both Phi Lambda Sigma and the Student College of Clinical Pharmacy (SCCP). Within SCCP, she is a member of the Cardiology Practice and Research Network Communications and Social Media Committee. She has also served as a peer mentor for first year pharmacy students for the past two years. In addition to her involvement, Kristin has written two legislative focus articles published in the Pharmacy Times magazine.

Kristin works as a pharmacy intern at a community hospital in Kentucky and hopes to pursue a PGY-1 residency upon graduation, followed by a PGY-2 in Cardiology before becoming a clinical pharmacist.
