Project Proposal: Community Pharmacist Preceptors and Their Knowledge, Experience, and Perceived Intent to Recommend Cannabidiol Products for Patient Use

Molly Nichols, PharmD, RPh currently serves as the PGY1 Community Pharmacy Resident for the Walgreens/Purdue University program in Indianapolis, Indiana. Dr. Nichols graduated from Purdue University.

CBD popularity has grown exponentially over the last few years, and community pharmacists in particular are positioned to have significant exposure to these products. By characterizing pharmacists’ knowledge and experience with CBD products, we can identify needed resources for pharmacists to continue providing optimal patient care.

"I am humbled to receive an Incentive Grant for my research project and grateful for the tremendous support and guidance from my preceptors and mentors in the Walgreens/Purdue program."
