Q & A: Getting to know Jason Sapia

New York is home to you. Which is your preferred method of travel between Washington, DC and New York?  Car, Amtrak, Airplane, or Bolt Bus?

I prefer taking the plane – only 45 minutes.

Although you have lived and worked near Washington, DC for a few years, what remains on your to-do list?

I've never been to the top of the Washington Monument.

Do you have any hobbies?

While the piano is the first instrument that I studied, I also enjoy playing the guitar and drums.

Where did you go to college?

I received my bachelor’s degree from Hofstra University and master’s degree from Bay Path University.

What drew you to the APhA Foundation?

On a personal level, I want to help make an impact on society that leads to advancements in science and public health.  Being at the Foundation is one of the ways to be involved in this work.

Tell us about one of the things that excites you about the Foundation.

What's special to me are the opportunities we have to bring people along on our journey to help pharmacists and the profession we all value.
